Update and new courses - 20 March 2019

EduCare is the UK's leading provider of online safeguarding and duty of care training. Their courses cover child protection, health and safety, fire safety, first aid, safeguarding vulnerable adults, and more. Each is independently verified for CPD and downloadable , personalised certificates mean you can evidence learning.

To enable access to your online courses we need to share some of your personal data with Educare, who will not use your personal information for any reason other than enabling your course(s). 

GDPR - Individual learner data (first/last name and email) will be stored on Educare's Learner Management System (LMS) to enable learners to access the online learning service, complete courses, answer questionnaires, access resources, record learning progress and download personalised certificates.  Please see the EduCare GDPR Statement.

Your name and email address will be entered on www.myeducare.com in order to create your user account. When you have been added you will receive a welcome email from EduCare with instructions on how to log in. ASTO have an annual contract which is valid until midnight 14 March 2020. You will have access to the site until that date in order to complete your online course. During this period, your personal information will be held on the EduCare database and be available to ASTO for the purpose of managing your course(s).

ASTO is promoting these online courses to assist our member organisations in attaining the highest standards. We are offering a range of courses, and any or all of them can be taken for one price of £10, (ASTO member organisation's staff/volunteers only) up until midnight 14th March 2020. You will need to re-register and pay again for the following year, if you wish to complete courses after this date. Please refer to the PDF files at the end of this web page for details of the individual courses. Once you have paid via Paypal and we have confirmation who you work for, or your organisation has paid us via invoice, we will register your details with Educare.

As we need to send your details to EduCare this will only be done during ASTO working hours, please do not email at a weekend or evening to say you have paid and not been registered. IMPORTANT - the email address AND THE NAME you list on the PayPal page is the one we will use to register you unless you let us know you wish to use a different email or name for your EduCare courses. If someone else is paying for your course you MUST contact us to let us know the name to register, otherwise the name of the person paying WILL BE the name on any certificates.
